Nikhil and Ekta Manglik didn’t set out to build a beauty brand. They set out to bridge the gap between traditional remedies and modern formulation science.

I bought a popular ‘natural’ product online, only to experience dandruff and scalp irritation. It made me realize that ingredient transparency and formulation matter just as much as natural ingredients. That experience pushed me to dig deeper into ingredients, remedies, and the science behind what truly makes a product safe and effective.
Ekta Manglik
For years, we helped over 5 million readers discover natural remedies and evidence-based personal care insights. Turning that knowledge into thoughtfully formulated products felt like the next honest step for us.
How Little Extra came to be

A moment they’ll never forget
Early in our research phase, Nikhil tried a homemade banana hair mask. It worked brilliantly for his hair—but left him so fragrant that Ekta refused to sit near him for the rest of the day! It was a hilarious reminder that while raw nature is powerful, we needed smart science to make it truly wearable. The recipes were scientifically refined, our hair products stayed pure, and the marriage survived.
The journey begins
We launched Top10HomeRemedies, a health and beauty platform dedicated to researching and sharing home remedies, wellness insights, and practical personal care knowledge with readers around the world.
A growing demand emerged
As our platform grew to over 5 million annual readers, many readers began asking whether the remedies and ingredient insights we shared could be transformed into products they could use every day.
The moment that changed everything
After experiencing dandruff and scalp irritation from a popular “natural” product, Nikhil began digging deeper into ingredients, remedies, and formulation science. What started as a personal frustration soon became the foundation for Little Extra.
